Our Story
Smart Asset Capital was founded in 2019 with a clear vision: to empower investors through strategic, high-yield real estate opportunities. What began as a focus on residential investments has evolved into leadership in industrial real estate.
In May 2024, we launched SAC Industrial Fund I, marking a pivotal moment in our growth. Today, we concentrate on small to medium-sized, cash-flowing industrial properties in Southeastern Wisconsin, identifying opportunities often overlooked by others.

Adam McCarthy
Principal & Co-Founder
Adam McCarthy is a seasoned real estate investor with over 10 years of experience. He owns a personal portfolio of 400+ units and has brokered more than $300 million in real estate transactions. As the founder of Smart Asset Realty, Adam oversees the management of 4,000+ units with a team of 65+ employees. His expertise spans investment strategy, property management, and market analysis.
Geoff Stuhr
Principal & Co-Founder
Geoff Stuhr brings extensive experience in sales, leasing, and investor relations. With a background in Fortune 100 companies, Geoff previously led sales for SAP across the Western United States, managing over 40,000 accounts and earning recognition in the GE President’s Club. At Smart Asset Capital, Geoff oversees leasing efforts for the company’s portfolio and manages relationships with 100+ investor partners, ensuring strategic alignment and strong performance across investments.
Brock Mogensen
Principal & Co-Founder
Brock Mogensen specializes in acquisitions, underwriting, and asset management at Smart Asset Capital. He developed a custom underwriting model and has served as the lead underwriter on over $1 billion in real estate acquisitions. With an MBA emphasizing Information Systems, Brock brings a data-driven approach to investment analysis and decision-making. He also leads asset management for Smart Asset Capital’s portfolio, overseeing operations and driving value, including three successful exits.

Adam W. Campbell, CPA brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and business intelligence including 5+ years in family offices and 10+ years of work in PE backed real estate companies. He was a founding employee for a real estate fund in Salt Lake City, UT that managed over $5 Billion of AUM. He has played key roles in scaling accounting & finance departments from the ground up in privately held and VC/PE backed operating companies.
Lincoln Archibald

Lincoln is the Managing Partner of Fund Launch Partners.. With prior experience from JP Morgan, venture capital, and real estate development, he brings a strong analytical and financial background to his work. Functioning as a Fund Consultant, Lincoln has coached and advised hundreds of emerging asset managers across the alternatives landscape.
